This a huge topic that it sadly often overlooked, but I will try to share my thoughts on this as well.
My Humble Beginnings...
As long back as I can remember I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. The freedom to control my own life was paramount to everything else.
That being said, it’s easy to say the words, but to be a successful entrepreneur is hard work and a daunting task, that is not for everyone.
The constant failures you need to go through before you learn enough to succeed is very hard, but if your drive and passion are strong enough you can get there. Just gotta keep pushing through.
I started out by importing spy gear from China, then moved on to open a custom tailoring store, a women’s clothing store, importing jewelry business, and even failed at Kindle publishing:-))
My Success...
With each of my many failures, I learned something. I grew and got better.
At this point, the Internet was more widely available, and I got into the online television space, and really made some serious money in that niche.
I started a streaming company with only 500 USD which made me over 3 million USD in only 18 months. Best money I ever spent 🙂
After I sold that business, I moved on to real estate investing and the stock market, and today I make medium 6-figures in USD per year, from all my businesses, while being semi-retired.
In the end, being an entrepreneur is all about your drive, studying, and doing the work. I can show you the steps, but you are the one that has to do the work. No one can do it for you.
